Herald Jaeger 1930's plywood bass. This is my gigging instrument. Not without a few scratches and dents but easily my favorite playwood bass I've ever played.
It has a David Gage realist pickup, velvet blue ADG strings and a Helicore Hybrid E string. Set up wonderfully with an adjustable bridge.
I'm located near downtown, so easy pick up.
Sounds great pizz or with a bow. I have a German bow that I can include if needed.
Subject to availability- this is my only bass, but not gigging super often, so happy to rent this to a traveling bassist ! |

Nice 3/4 Eastman carved bass. Bridge with adjusters, Spirocore strings, Realist and Full Circle pickups. String length 41.5", sloping shoulders, easy to get around. Ebony fingerboard nicely planed. Bass is setup great. Also I have GK MB150 amp available. Basically you could come into Kansas City area with nothing and play a gig. Also have German and French bows available. I live in NYC but go back to KC and play this rig. More info about me or hear this bass: https://www.craigakin.com/rentals |

I highly recommend this bass- it felt and sounded great! The adjustable bridge made it easy to put the strings where I needed them, and it had a big sound. A+
